Easter Blessings

Wishing everyone a Blessed Easter!!

This card is one of my Favorite color combos.  My Mothers Counter top was very similar to this pattern of flowers.  The Cross is made with the new Hardwood background stamp.  So many uses for this stamp.  I stamped Soft Suede on Crumb Cake card stock and cut the pieces and tied the together with some Linen Thread.  Ovals in Whisper White and Perfect Plum provide the Frame.  Flowers from Summer Shillouettes were stamped on the White Oval and the card base.  Easter Blessing(retired) was stamped in Early Express on both pieces because the card was TOO small!  But I love the look.  The card base was then embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder and the ovals popped up to match the script of the Sentiment.

This card will be going to my 98 year old Aunt Irene, she loves getting notes from me and I am so Blessed to still have her in my life.

Celebrate Grunge

Here is Take Two of the Grunge card.  Which one is your favorite?  Leave a Comment and pick a FREE item from the Blog Bucket next time you attend a class.  I have been wanting to use this Candle Wheel for a long time, and thought this was the perfect opportunity.  The Candles are wheeled in Crushed Curry and mounted on Real Red.  A few Rhinestones add some shine.  The Background is Gorgeous Grunge stripes in real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Midnight Muse, Pool Party and Crushed Curry.  The Sentiment from Perfectly Penned is stamped in Black Stazon on Real Red and cut out with the Chalk Talk Framelits.  Arrow Embossing folder adds texture.

Birthday Grunge

Lisa has been sending me some PINspiration and here is what I came up with.  Perfectly Penned and Gorgeous Grunge meet Bright Colors for this Happy card!  The card base is Real Red.  A Whisper White mat is Inked with Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Midnight Muse, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party and Tempting Turquoise. and embossed with the Arrows embossing folder   Pool Party Ruffle Stretch trim adds the finishing touch on this card.

Shine on!

Here is another Birthday card using the Hostess Set "Making a Point".  Adorable nail polish bottles, stamped with Versamark and embossed.  Easy to snip out with your paper snips.  Then colored with markers to match you color scheme.  I used Primrose Petals and the Silver Metallic marker from last year.  Happy Birthday is stamped with Stazon on a Whisper White base.  Kaleidoscope paper is adhered to Primrose Petals and then to the card base.  The entire card front is embossed with the Scalloped embossing folder.  The nail polish is popped up and the Jewelry tag punch fits "Shine On" perfectly and a Rhinestone provides the Shine!

New Shoes!

You know how much I love shoes, I think most of us do.  When I saw this Hostess set in the mini, this stamp caught my eye.

This has been my go to Birthday card for several friends.  Change the mat to Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay or Strawberry Slush.  Whatever color you want to draw out of the Kaleidoscope Designer paper.  Geometrical shapes are stamped in Smoky Slate ink on a Smoky Slate card base.  A bit of bling on the bow colored with a Bermuda Bay marker give just the right amount of sparkle!
