I am hoping my new Roomie does not look at my Blog today! I am leaving for Convention today and will be meeting her this evening. Always a bit of anxiety when meeting someone new for the first time and sharing a room for the next 4 nights. But we Stampin' Up demos are a rare breed and usually gel well with one another. I am so excited to be sharing this convention with Tricia. It is her FIRST Convention and I know she will be awed and amazed!!!
I wanted to make her a little something to organize a few of the necessities for a day on the move......tablet, pencils, lip balm, CHOCOLATE, and some calming Camomille tea to wind down after a long day. Tricia mentioned she loved Blackberry Bliss and on a Facebook post of some Washer jewelry she is making for a swap featured another pattern of this Park Lane designer paper. So that was a no brainer for this purple girl! These stamp cases are so easy to decorate.
The dsp is cut 7 inches X 11 1/8. I then cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock the same size and slipped them under the plastic sleeve. I covered the binding on the tablet with a piece of dsp measuring 5 X 2. Used tombow to adhere. A piece of Blackberry Bliss Satin stitched ribbon was slipped thru the spine and tied in a bow. I used a sentiment from an exclusive stamp set for Demos from Convention 2013. Cut out with label framelits and a couple of Rhinestones added for the Bling.
I bought some Sugar Free Chocolate and needed a bag to hold all the goodies, so I decorated a Natural Kraft bag with Flower Shop flowers and Petite petals stamped in Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. The Tag is clipped to the finished bag with on of the InColor Clothes pins. I hope she like it!
