More Pattern Mixing....

I love Daisies!  They were my Wedding flowers long long ago....these Paper patterns begged for some Daisy Flowers.  So I broke out the Cheerful Daisies Bundle.  I love this Die with multiple flowers and you can CUT them apart!

Petal Pink card base, Daffodil Delight mat and some random scraps of dsp (designer series paper) on my table that matched the Daisy pattern in the middle.  I matted the dsp on Daffodil Delight and then embossed with a Retired Script folder.  Cut the Daisy bunch in half and colored the centers with Blends.

The embossing really pops and the Postage Die is a Great size for the Sentiment.  Below is a close up look.

 

Here is a Full card of the Eclectic dsp on a Petal Pink card base embossed with Timeworn Type.  Totally different look and feel on this card.  This card really does LOOK like Spring!

This dsp was a Sale-a-bration offering and is maybe a Cosmo.....but the Daisy seemed to really coordinate and I love the colors!  Pool Party card base and the Large Daisy.  

Here is the dsp scrap version, when you cut (2) 5 1/4 X 4 card pieces you are left with a 1 1/2 X 4 scrap.  3 of these scrap pieces of dsp make a great back ground and since our paper coordinates you can really come up with some beautiful combinations.   Using an embossing folder gives Texture and adding Die cuts provides a focal point.  I hope you enjoyed todays pattern mixing.....

Dandy Garden Day 2

 Another Dandelion image today, I could create with this bundle all week, but there is so much to show in this Jan-June Mini catalog. Page after page of coordinating products!!

So many of these paper patterns have both Dandelions and Dragonflies in the pattern.  I did not want to cover up all this goodness, so chose the narrow Ornate layer Die for a backdrop.  Dandelion stamped in Mossy Meadow, colored with Mossy Meadow, BumbleBee and Pear Pizzazz markers, then BLENDED with Pear Pizzazz to cover the white edges.  These Blending Brushes are a MUST have, and they rinse clear with water in a moment!

Garden Wishes Bundle

 I LOVE Coordination.....and Stampin' Up has always been the BEST with coordinating colors, papers and Suites of products.  You cannot go wrong if you decide to add the Garden Wishes Bundle to your craft room.  

Calypso Coral card base and Dandy Garden paper make a great background for the Single Dandy Lion.  This is not your everyday weed!  I stamped in Mossy Meadow and used the Blending Brush with Pear Pizzazz ink to color the leaves.  Calypso Coral ink for the Flower and a bit of Blending to cover the white edges.  These Flower images can be any color you want and the matching Dies cut out your image!

I flipped another paper pattern from Dandy Garden to ground the image and added Ornate Layers Dies as a Beautiful Frame behind the flower.  Sentiments in this bundle are done in Mixed fonts.
