Gnomes for Harvester's

 While stamping in my Garage yesterday I finally finished the cards for Harvester's Food Pantry.  WHEW 150 Gnome cards....and I colored at least 60 of these little Gnomes in the Garage.  Snoopy loves Stamping in the Garage.....she can be outside and feel safe with me close by.......so weather permitting I will squeeze another day or two in at the end of the month!

Using current Toile Tidings paper on the Crumb Cake cards.  Stamped Gnomes on Very Vanilla and colored with Blends.  For these cards I am trimming in Rectangles to allow for quicker assembly.  Love this baby cutter as I slide the paper and make my pile of finished Gnomes....

Then add the Gnomes to the prepped card bases and a Merry Christmas sentiment from last months Paper Pumpkin!

And this Retired Blue shaded paper made some cute card bases with a more Trendy Gnome!

Ready to Deliver next week.  I hope these cards will brighten the Holidays for folks receiving Food Boxes in the coming weeks.  2020 has been a rough year for so many, grateful I can spread a bit of Cheer thru handmade cards.

Love in 2020

The season of LOVE is right around the Corner and I still have hope that someday.....LOVE will find me.  When I least expect it.....crazy but Hopeful.  As I make these cards I hope to give one to SOMEONE Special this year! 

Started off simple on this first card.  Showing off the Designer paper with FOIL accents.  The From My Heart Bundle includes 2 punches!!  Punches are the BEST and so easy to use on so many projects!

I layered the Hearts and used Flirty Flamingo and Real Red.  This white Crinkle ribbon is going to be one of my favorites as it goes with all the things!

I finished 20 Snowflake cards tonight and re-purposed 40 Swaps!  Woo Hoo only 20 more to go and I have the 100 cards ready to donate to Harvesters!! 

I only had Ivory card bases, so decided to stamp Perfect Plum, Pool Party and Soft Sky Snowflakes.  I used the Sending Smiles sentiment again because it just FITS!!  And added 2 Rhinestones to the Large Flakes for some Sparkle.  Everyone deserves a little Sparkle in their life!

Crunch Time

The Deadline for Harvesters cards is fast approaching and I had only designed a few cards.  And trust me these designs needed to be simplified for MASS production.  Here are my First 25.

 I love saving my Salad containers to hold projects!!

 I used Retired LOST LAGOON card stock for the Background.  Stamped a Tree from Sheltering Tree in Black Stazon ink and a Sentiment from Greatest Greetings.  The Snow Swoosh is from Sheltering Tree and the Snowflakes are from Pretty Pines, both stamped in Whisper White Craft ink.

These took me about 2 hours to complete start to finish.  Time to move on to the Snowflake card......

New Charity Cause

I used to stamp cards for the Troops and many of you helped by providing ready made cards or coming to my events to make these cards.  Due to Troop withdrawal over the past few years the Organizations that provided these cards have dissolved.  I have a few options for these leftover cards and will be mailing those out after Christmas.........

But I have found a LOCAL cause that needs cards!!  I was looking for a Volunteer opportunity at Harvester's and clicked Off Site and they provide cards with EVERY Family box they deliver!!  I had NO IDEA!! 

Harvesters needs 5000 cards between Oct 19th 2016 and Jan 14th 2017.  I want to donate at least 100 cards before their next deadline January 13th.  So if you have some cards you would like to donate please let me know and you can drop them off at the next Stamp A Stack January 7th. 

They need Thinking of you type cards.  Since these will be delivered in the Winter maybe some Snow men or Winter Scenes, Snow Flakes etc.  No Religious or Political messages are allowed.
If you want to leave the inside of the card BLANK I can add an appropriate sentiment before I deliver the cards.

NEXT YEAR I want to be more organized and provide more cards for the Christmas Season.  So before you store those leftovers away make a few Holiday cards to be donated next year!  And bring them by to any event you attend in 2017.  Here is the text from Harvester's site:

Project Description: Each month, Harvesters distributes nearly 5,000 CSFP food boxes to food insecure seniors. These boxes include shelf stable items like cereal, pasta, canned vegetables, and juices. Please help us share an upbeat messages in each one of these boxes during the holiday season. Any quantity of cards will gladly be accepted. This is great project for individuals or groups (faith-based, schools, service organization, etc.).  Do’s: Please be sure to include positive messages.
