If I had known this stamp set would be on sale I would have used it, but trust me it is 2 step stamping and it is beautiful!! But I used Best of Autumn and the single Magnificent Maple stamp.  Love this color combo.  Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Very Vanilla.

Best of Autumn Pumpkins

Once I start water coloring I see stamps in a different light.  So bear with me this might last a few days!!  And on this card Less is More......the Image is colored on Shimmery White card stock and matted on Pumpkin Pie and Early Expresso. The card base is Pear Pizazz embossed 3/4 of the way with the Square Lattice Embossing folder.  The Sentiment is stamped in Early Expresso ink on the
 un-embossed portion of the card base.  This embossing folder reminds me of fields and quilting, perfect for a backdrop of this farm stead image.

I used the ink pad lids as my coloring medium. Squish the ink pad, open and wa la you have ink in the lid! Our water coloring brushes are the best. This technique is all about a light touch.  Hold the brush lightly to allow only a bit of water to soak the brush.  Too Much water = a wet mess!!  Color light colors first and shade in the darker colors.  The image is popped up on the card front.  A little piece of Art work colored by YOU!!!

Best of Autumn Apples

I always loved these apples.  They beg to be water colored.  I combined the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set and a doily for a very Sweet card!

Smoky Slate and Soft Sky pair well together.  The Soft Sky mat was stamped with Soft Sky ink and the Gorgeous Grunge water spots.  The Apples were stamped in Basic Gray ink and water colored with Raspberry Ripple, Smoky Slate and Pear Pizazz.  The Sentiment is from the Six Sided Sampler.  The Doily really gives a softness to this card.  I added a few rhinestones to cover an oops!!  I have no idea how that spot of crushed curry ended up by my pail of apples!!

Best of Autumn Stack

I was on a roll and had another stack from the Tasteful Trim die and the Best of Autumn stamp set sitting on my table.  Here is another version on a Baked Brown Sugar card base with the Leaf stamp and Sentiment from this Stamp set.

Leaves are stamped in Baked Brown Sugar, Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze ink.  Pool Party water drops from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamps set compliment the background.  Give Thanks was stamped in Early Expresso ink.  Embossed with the Modern Mosaic embossing folder, that may be hard to see.  Love this effect!  Thanks Diney for giving me this idea!!

Best of Autumn

When I started stamping in 2005 this bucket of apples was one of my favorite images, but buying the entire wood mount set never happened.  So I am so happy to see this image in the Best of Autumn!!
