I finally broke out the Gold Leafing for this Beauty. This is one of my favorite patterns from this Paper pack. The cool Pool Party card base and scalloped Circle surrounding this Gilded Flower stamped in Bumble Bee and Poppy Parade. The Gold threads in this ribbon are stunning!
Take a closer look at this ribbon and leafing......I am so glad I watched OnStage demonstrations and observed how to use the Gilded Leafing! This stuff is very light weight and will "fly away" if you don't contain it. Once you contain it, so easy to use!!
This paper looks like a textured Oil Painting. I did not want to cover up the Beauty so opted for Circle Dies to stamp my flower. Large Flower image in Bumble Bee, then topped with Poppy Parade. Then DRY your image with a Heat gun to prevent this!! TOO MUCH Gold Leaf!!
When I stamped the small floral image in Versamark and added the Heat and Stick powder, the powder stuck to MOST of my original image. I tried to brush off a bit with a Tooth Brush, but still almost covered my inked image! So I started over and dried my flower and then used the smallest flower center with the versamark ink, heat and stick powder and then dipped in the Gold Leaf. Notice I dumped a little bit of the Gold Leaf in a plastic tub..
After heating the powder it becomes Tacky. Dip in the Gold leaf. Then use a Tooth Brush or Paint Brush and Brush the excess back into the tub to be use next time.
LOVE this effect and can't wait to show you MORE ways to use this beautiful Suite of products!!
