Today's card uses the Texture stamp from Woven Heairlooms to create a background and the Ornate Layers Die gives this Beautiful edge. A Stitched Rectangle Frames the sentiment and I love the filigree accent.

Pear Pizzazz card base and ink.  The detail on these Ornate Layers dies is amazing!  This card can be made in any color combo.  Simple and Beautiful!

The Font on Woven Heirlooms sentiments are Gorgeous!  I have been using them on quite a few cards and today want to Feature the Wedding Sentiment with a Roccoco Rose card base.

Camo!!

Camouflage is on Trend, you see Camo everywhere!  Clothes, Hats, Cups, Coolers, even Masks!  Well now you can have Camo Cards!!  I used non traditional colors for this first card.  Rich Razzleberry and Highland Heather.  Always ink the lightest color first, I was a little heavy handed with the Rich Razzleberry and lost some of the contrast I was going for.

Stampin' Up still offers Background stamps in Cling and Wood Mount.  Save some $$ and get the cling.  Mount your stamp on the Cling backing and Cling inside your stamp case.  So easy and you can ink it up right there and the stamp will NOT MOVE!!!

Here is a close up of the Razzleberry card.  Love these layering dies from Stitched So Sweetly.

Here is a shot of the Stamp in the case.  Ink from the top and then press your paper down.  Use a Clear block to press your paper.  Use a piece of copy paper in between to catch any extra ink.  Rinse with water in the sink to clean.  Pat dry.

On this card I was going for Realistic Camo.  Crumb Cake card stock, Soft Suede and Old Olive ink.  Another experiment.  I used Soft Suede ink first and pressed the paper, then I inked again and rotated the paper.  Then inked in Old Olive and rotated again.  I wish I had used Early Expresso for the second layer.  Experment and make your CAMO any color or colors you want!

Added an Old Olive Sentiment and a few leaves for accent.  A Great card for someone shipping out to Boot Camp or going on deployment.  Or for a HUNTER or Outdoorsy guy!

Dandelions Take 2

So today let's INK the embossing folder!! An old trick but a good one, especially with this Dandelion Folder!  Pool Party ink on the folder and Whisper White card stock.  Run thru the Big Shot and WOW!  I matted on Basic Black and a Pool Party card base and added a Sentiment.

Try ALL the colors and this card is for all Occasions!

And then.......I took a Wood Grain pattern from "In Good Taste" paper and inked the Folder with Crushed Curry ink.  This is Gorgeous and on a Crumb Cake card base.  Love the Subtle coloring of the wood grain and the POP of the Dandelion Texture off the paper.

Dandelions 3D

There are times when Stampin' Up hits it out of the park.....and this Dandelion Embossing folder is one of those times!  I could have made cards all night.  Each idea rolled into another idea and the possibilities are endless!!

I started Simple with Whisper White.....stunning and you can even use your Magnetic plate and one Cutting plate for your sandwich!  Super Simple.

I added a pop of Bumble Bee "Flowers for Every Season" dsp between the Whisper White card base and the Embossed layer.  This makes a perfect canvas to add a sentiment.  Then I tried this......

I embossed a piece of "Flowers for Every Season" designer paper.  Then sponged the Dandelions with Just Jade ink.   You get a better look on the Close up.....

Love how this turned out and the Sentiments from Woven Heirlooms are beautiful!!
