Go MAD for PLAID

What do you get when you add Marker lines to Buffalo Check?  PLAID, I say Plaid!  And who does not LOVE a good PLAID and it goes so well with our Country Lane Designer paper!  I was having a PLAID moment and here is what I stamped using the Buffalo Check Background stamp.  The Finished card:

 And here is where this started..................

I stamped Old Olive on Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler on Crumb Cake. I cut my card stock 5 1/4 X 4 inches to use as a mat on a standard size card.

 Next step choose a Stampin' Write marker and grab a ruler.  Draw lines across your image in between the checks both ways.  I used an Old Olive marker to Christmas up this Plaid!

I used Night of Navy on the Old Olive Checks.

And here are 2 more.  Balmy Blue on Balmy Blue and Cajun Craze on Cajun Craze.  I used 2 Markers on the Balmy Blue, Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay.

And tried 2 Markers on the Cajun Craze.  Soft Suede and Crushed Curry, but if I had a "DO OVER" would stick to the Crushed Curry.  On Darker colors it is hard to tell which color is which!

Here is the close up on a Mint Macaron Card base.  Love these White pumpkins!  I added some Chicken wire scraps and sad to say the Chicken Wire is on Back order until October.  The Stitched Framelit is from Farm House Christmas.  Nature's Twine in Mint Macaron ties this card all together.
