Birds in Love.....how sweet, here is another ALL Occasion stamp set in the Occasions catalog. You will see many more Bird Banter cards. The Sentiments are Witty and Spot On! This card could be a Valentine or just a Friend card. Super Simple and you can COLOR!!!
I stamped some random clouds from You Lift me up in Smoky Slate on the Soft Sky card base. My stamp kept falling off the block....can you tell! But onward and upward......no looking back!
I stamped all the elements in Momento ink on a piece of Water Color paper and colored with the Blends and Wink of Stella for some Shine. But then I had the Bright Idea to Wash some Soft Sky over the paper....BAD idea!!!!
Now you can see why, the Water made the Momento ink Bleed and muddy things up a bit. But after it all dried it did not look too bad.......good enough for a Sample!! I backed the scene with Island Indigo card stock. Moral of the story......Stazon ink with Water. Moemento ink with Alcohol markers!!! Or Wash your card FIRST, let dry and then stamp and color.
