I wanted this card to look all soft and soothing like that Morning cup of Tea makes me feel. I like the slow effect of Tea. So many flavors and benefits of drinking Tea.
I paired Painted Harvest stamps with the Merry Cafe set and grunged up the Crumb Cake card base by stamping the leaves around the entire edge. I then stamped a random row of the same leaf down the side of a Whisper White panel. Then used an old technique......saran wrapped globbed into a ball, inked on Pumpkin Pie ink and then touched to the white paper. A very Subtle yet stunning back ground!
I added some scraps of Autumn Harvest designer paper and a Pumpkin Pie Circle cut with the Stitched Framelits. This Simple cup is decorated with some of the stamps from Merry Cafe. The cup band was stamped with the sentiment and then cut down. I left off the lid and added some Linen Thread and a Corrugated Element as the Tea Bag tag.
