Copper Pineapple

Did you have one of these in your Kitchen growing up?  I think many of us did, Jello molds is what we used them for, Sunshine Salad.  Grated carrots, Crushed Pineapple and Lemon or Orange Jello.  Oh how I hated this salad, sometimes Grandma would add finely chopped celery.....UGH!!  When I saw this mini Pineapple in "Pop of Paradise" and the Copper embossing powder,  this is the memory it triggered!

And just like every trend it's back or maybe it never left!  In this weeks 'Old Time Pottery" ad.  Copper!!

This card is not quite what I imagined, but the direction it went when I started stamping today.  I used Night of Navy, Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder to stamp the background with the Copper embossed Pineapples.  Washi Tape and a Watermelon Wonder snipped out as an accent.

And a close up.......I used Dapper Denim as the card base......and well it does not quite match!  LOL!!  Too late, imagine Night of Navy in it's place!
