Turkey Feathers

Have I mentioned how much you can do with this Curvy Keepsakes thinlit?  How's this for a cute table decoration?  And so easy to put this together!  Watch the website for a class coming in October to make these little cuties.

 

My Turkey faces need some work!!  But love how the feathers and Box turned out.  I stamped feathers in Crumb Cake ink on Crumb Cake card stock for the curvy box.  Feathers were stamped on the scraps in Hello Honey, Cajun Craze and Crumb Cake inks.  Cut out with the Framelits.  I punched a large Oval in Crumb cake and layered the Feathers with dimensionals.  I then used 2 full dimensionals to adhere to the body back.  The Body Front is an Oval punch of Soft Suede and and
1 1/4 circle punch.  Feet are an Owl punch in Early Expresso and the eyes.  The Cajun Craze wattle is a leftover from a leaf.

Royals Celebrate Project Life

I had some more feathers planned for today, but after that GREAT Royals win and Playoff clinch, I had to make a Project Life page.  This went together in a snap, the cards are the perfect Crushed Curry color to accent the Royal Blue.  I journaled with Project Life pens and stole a pic from Facebook!!  Love that Union Station pic, social media is AWESOME!  I cut up a schedule, a leftover ticket and some baseballs cut from a sandwich bag.  Inspiration is everywhere!

And to work with my Best Friends is the BEST part of selling tickets for the Royals!  Love these gals and can't wait to make more memories with them!

Red Friday Feathers and New Hostess code!!

I saw a similar card designed by Justin Krieger one of our Male SU demos and knew I had to shake some tail feathers for the Chiefs!  These feathers are so versatile and can be used for any occasion.  I used Real Red and Hello Honey ink on Whisper White card stock.  Cut them out with the framelits.  The head dress is a carefully crafted Soft Suede Oval Framelit with a chunk cut out by using the framelit again.  I set this askew on a Crumb Cake card base.  A little grunge in Crumb Cake and some Linen Thread to tie on the side Feathers and the button.  Yippe Skippee is stamped in Real Red and cropped with Project Life Framelits.

Gently Falling Feathers .....

I was on the fence about this bundle and kept seeing such beautiful cards,  This month's Thank You card is my first go with this stamp set.  Lost Lagoon was the logical choice for Feather color in my imagination and I wanted the feathers to fall.  Mission accomplished!  The Top feather is Pool Party, next feathers Lost Lagoon.  Smoky Slate for some Gorgeous Grunge and Basic Gray sentiment from Lots of Thanks.  Bottom Feather stamped and cropped with the framelit.

Christmas card of the week

I loved this Christmas Bauble stamp the moment I saw it and wanted to color with Blendabilities.  So here is this weeks Christmas card.  Old Olive and Real Red on Naturals White card stock.  Some of our new Real Red Satin Woven ribbon and Gold Stampin' Dazzle marker.  The sentiment is from Ornamental Pine.  Oval Framelits and the On Point embossing folder finish this card.

Another phone photo, went to Walmart and came home with everything but batteries! Sorry for the bad quality, I'll be back in business tomorrow for sure.

Another Shaker......for some Special Royals!

It's almost that time of year when the bats go silent and we pack up for the Baseball season.  I hope we go Post Season, but we always celebrate our season with a Supervisors Party.  Since none of them follow my Blog, I am posting the card created for each of them.  I used the ticket punch and mini tickets in the shaker along with some stars.  A Test Ticket that we print every game provides the Sentiment.  I used another retired set to add the baseballs and bats to the background.  The new Star embossing folder adds some texture.  And the Star is our new Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper.  It is BRIGHT!! 

 

Sorry for the shadow, but my camera is officially dead and of course I can't find any batteries!!!

I am so Blessed to work for the Kansas City Royals and the Friends I have met there are priceless!!

Mini Pumpkin

I really was trying not to buy this framelit Curvy Keepsake Box, but I keep seeing the cutest things and here is my mini pumpkin!  ADORABLE!!  And would hold kisses, hugs, mini cady bars and all kinds of cute things.

I stamped some grunge with pumpkin pie ink on the exposed sides.  Used Tomboe to adhere the two pieces together.  Then fold the slit over the handle, repeat.  This box went together in 10 minutes!!  You could personalize these and use them as Place cards with a treat inside, Wedding or Baby Shower favors, teacher gifts, the list goes on and on........

Cut 2 of these crazy shapes,

 Stamp each side and adhere bottom of the box.  You could emboss before you glue together if you want some more texture. 

Folded together and decorated with a couple of leaves and the lovely Old Olive Two-tone trim!!

Confetti Star Shaker card

Here is the card using the Confetti from the previous star punches.  Punch your scrap before you toss them and start a confetti container.  I used the Shaker Frames to make a pocket behind a window sheet for the shaker.  Looking back nw it would have beeb easier to use the straight edges of regular dimensionals.  But you get the idea!

Such a cute card for young and old!  The sentiment is from Honeycomb Hello. 

Daffodil Delight is embossed with the Star embossing folder.  The Tempting Turquoise stars and window sheet are cut with the Stars Framelits.  The confetti from using the punch give you beautiful confetti!  Place a pile on the card and carefully lower the Window sheet star.  Line the Window sheet with shaker frame dimensionals.  I used a glue dot in each corner to adhere the Turquoise star.  I then cut a Pumpkin Pie and Tempting Turquoise star and offset them.
