Birthday Queen

Queen Bee card 2......today I used the same layout with a different embossing folder Cane Weave.
Crushed Curry card base and Balmy Blue Circle embossed with Cane Weave.  My Grandmother had Cane chairs and my Neighbor actually canes chairs!  What a Beautiful art!  The reverse side of this Regency Park paper is actually Cane Weave pattern!

I colored this Bee with Petal Pink, Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron and Crushed Curry.  Added Wink of Stella to make the Bee Shimmer.  I have a Dear Friend with a Birthday coming in February and she is the "Queen of Everything" so this card is for her!

Regency Park 6X6  Designer paper  160559  $12.00

Queen Bee

Once I opened this Bundle I knew cards would be easy.....tons of ideas but with sore wrists I need to pace myself.   Who knew cutting paper and using the Die cutting machine would be so painful!  I have found the Stamparatus to be a valuable tool as I stamp a nice even image with little pressure on my wrists.

Balmy Blue Card base and Regency Park 6X6 designer paper.  This paper is Gorgeous and so many patterns!!  The pops of Mango Melody in the flowers pick up the color in the small Bees and the Large Bee was colored with the small blending brush!  Milky Dots were added to a few flowers as centers.

And the reverse of this paper pattern was trimmed off and flipped for an accent band under the Raindrop embossed Circle.  Queen was crowned for the Sentiment!

I took a Tumble.......

Monday was a beautiful day.........until I took a Tumble on concrete!  Xrays show no fractures, but when you land on BOTH wrists and your elbow.....all kinds of common tasks become painful and some impossible!  My Left hand has proven quite valuable, but crafting has been on hold.  I finally finished this months Thank You card, but then had to get out the ice packs!

Fresh Freesia card base and Favored Flowers Designer paper.  A Freesia scrap was TORN and stamped with the grunge stamp and then Embossed with Timeworn Type and a few Hives for accent.

Mossy Meadow leaves and this Die cuts and embosses!  The Small Bee and Sentiment Die finish this card.

Queen Bee Bundle  160485   $49.50

Favored Flowers 12X12  Designer paper  160833  FREE with $50 purchase

NEW Gnomes, Past paper!

I kept thinking I had Mushroom paper somewhere in my craft stash....and sure enough I found the Snail Mail paper!  These 2 paper patterns were begging for images from Friendly Gnomes!

Bermuda Bay card base and this sweet Mushroom paper.  The Large Gnome Die with Country Lane Floral paper Hat looks right at home on this paper.

Here is the larger Mushroom pattern with the Mushroom Image from Friendly Gnomes.  Colored with Blends to match the paper.  And this Sentiment....PERFECT!

This is why I love Stampin' Up products!  They coordinate year after year!
