Flowering Fields

Coloring Books are ALL the rage and I have thought about buying one, but I can color everyday on a card and give it to someone?  So why keep my coloring to myself?  I can't see many of my Friends and Family posting my coloring page on their Fridge?  So that would only open up another thing to HOARD.....Coloring Books!

More on coloring in a few days when I share my Cats Opinion....Snoopy has lots to say!!!

This set is awesome, small images, easy to color and the Combinations are endless!!!

The cards base is Rose Red, Pear Pizzazz mat and water color paper.  A MUST have if you want the best results.  I used Stazon Black ink and then ink pads and my Aqua Painter to color.  A Bit of Wink of Stella for some shimmer.  I popped up each layer to add dimension.

Birthday Love......Time to CELEBRATE!!

Today is my Birthday and I started celebrating last Friday with Dinner and an awesome Foot Massage with my Dear Friend Heather.

This place is in Westport and I'll be going back for sure and maybe even try the Body Massage.  A bit strange when you walk in as you are in one big room with 5 rows of Recliners, but music is playing and everyone is VERY quiet!

Perfectly Artistic Paper 2 Patterns

I LOVE this paper, so versatile on both sides.  One is like a Watercolor wash, the other side like fine Marble.  First up a LOVE card using the Basic Gray washed side embossed with the Happy Hearts embossing folder.  This could be a Valentine, Wedding, Anniversary or Just Because you LOVE someone!!  This SAB paper is only available until Feb 15th!!

I used a Smoky Slate card base and then cut out a Whisper White Rose in the Thick card stock.  Sponged Pear Pizzazz and Rose Red on the Rose,  Sentiment is from Bloomin' Love and a Vintage Faceted button lets the Rose center peak thru.

And here is the Crushed Curry Marbled side of the paper:

Whisper White card base with another Thick White Rose sponged with Pear Pizzazz and Crushed Curry ink.  Sentiment is from Rose Wonder.

Ingredients:

Rose Wonder Stamps and Rose Garden Thinlits Dies Bundle  140804  $49.25

SAB Perfectly Artistic paper  141021  FREE with $50 purchase
