Plaid Shadows

 I have not made a Book Bind card for quite a while and this Plaid match up really worked for this layout.  Crumb Cake card base scored at 5 1/2 and 6 3/4.  Plaid paper 1X4 and 4X4.  I embossed with the Fern 3D Embossing folder and LOVE how the Ferns play with this muted Plaid pattern.

Tied Linen Thread around the Book Bind and Popped up the Shadowed Shape stamped in Old Olive ink on a Nested Essential Die.  I love the Natural look of this card.  The Splatters are from another set called Elements of Text.  I'll be using this stamp set A LOT!

Mad about Plaid......

 The Timeless Plaid 6X6 paper is back in stock and I could not wait to get Gardening with this Tear and Turn card.  These patterns are Great for this Technique.......if you can decide which side to use!  Crumb Cake card base and a Garden Scene.  I've always loved these cold weather cabbage, kale type plants.  

I might try planting a few this Spring instead of my usual Pansy plants.  SO many cute Vegetables in this Bundle and Garden Scenes in the paper!

Another Strawberry card.....and NEW Paper Pumpkin kit

 Today I am using the Everyday Arch Dies, I wanted to buy the Dies only for this Stamp set and the BONUS is this stamp matches the Paper and Garden Patch Strawberries.  Stampin'Up! is all about coordination!  Shadowed Shapes fits the Arch.  I stamped with Old Olive ink on White cardstock and then layered on a Crumb Cake Arch.

I decided NOT to color the Shadow Shape Berries...maybe next time.  Instead I stamped the Garden Patch Strawberries and colored with Water Color pencils,  giving this card a softer look.  And Plenty of room for a Sentiment on the bottom of the Arch.

Strawberries.....NO Snow!

 I am putting some Spring Paper out into the Universe and hoping the Snow will pass us by!  This Story Book Moment paper is Vintage and Soft with so many colors!  Product colors: Basic Beige, Boho Blue, Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pebble Path, Pecan Pie, Wild Wheat 14!  I used Old Olive as the card base.  

I stamped and colored the Strawberries with Blends and punched and layered Circles.  A Nested Essential Die for the Sentiment.  The Pearls seem a bit large so those may get pulled.  Sometimes a photo gives a new perspective.  Lots of Beautiful Patterns in this paper pack.  Easter, Spring, Garden and Whimsy!
