Brilliant

Today I really "Lit" this card with 2 Light Bulbs!  Stamping on vellum and using a Colored Pencil to add some color to each Light Bulb.  Backed with a Basic Black Circle and some Rhinestones to cover the Tombow spots.  The DSP was cut 4X4 and added to a Whisper White card base and 1 1/4 X 4 Black for the bottom.

This pattern paired really well with Black and White.  The Sentiment was stamped and punched with a NEW punch.   Pretty Label.  This punch is part of a Bundle, which I will be using later this week.

Today I am showing you two more patterns of "Pick A Pattern" dsp on  "Flirty Flamingo card stock.  I wanted the Light Bulb to really stand out, so stamped on Vellum and colored the Heart on the back side with the Flirty Flamingo Marker.  I cut 3 ovals with the Layering Ovals Framelits.  A small Whisper White and a Large one of the Flower Pattern.

I adhered the Vellum under the light socket with Tombow to the White oval, then the White Oval to the dsp and then popped it all up.  The reserve side of the dsp gives some contrast to this simple card.

Cut Out to be Friends.....

Here is another cute image and Sentiment from "Crafting Forever."  LOVE this set!!!  And this  "Pick a Pattern" paper was the perfect match with Scissors and Supplies printed in Bright Bold Colors of Flirty Flamingo, Emerald Envy and Crushed Curry.  Pick A Pattern Designer paper has all these colors and eclectic patterns for all your projects, which you  will see more of this dsp in the next few days.  This would make a great Back to School Scrapbook backgound paper!

I stamped some scissors in Emerald Envy on the card base and Framed the Scissors in Flirty Flamingo using the Layering Ovals Framelits.  Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon ties it all together.

Handwritten Notes

We all need to write more notes......we really do!  Likes are nice and Hearts and Ha Has on FaceBook, but nothing is more personal than a Handwritten note.  Just for you in your mail box.
I still love the excitement of getting REAL Mail!!

Today I used these Beautiful Pens on this note....from Crafting Forever......and the Sentiment is pretty true in my case.  I would rather craft than do almost anything else!

The card base is Tranquil Tide with a piece of Delightful Daisy dsp.  Adhered the dsp and then embossed with the Ruffle Dynamic Embossing folder.  Water color paper was stamped with Archival Black ink and colored with our Color Pencils and Blended with a Blender pen.  Wink of Stella for some Shine.

And Stitched Framelits are the stars for cutting out the Oval and Squares.

This Stamp set really spoke to me from the New Catalog and I keep seeing amazing samples to Inspire me.  I hope I can Inspire the Inner Artist in you!!

I used Brush Strokes Background stamp in Calypso Coral on Calypso Coral card base.  Then Flagged a piece of Delightful Daisy DSP that really matched the look I was going for........

The Paint Bucket was Stamped in Archival Black ink on Watercolor paper and colored with our AMAZING watercolor pencils.  Stitched Framelits cut out the Sentiment and some Rhinestones cover an oops!!

So try to follow this Sentiment in your daily life.....Be it with Stamping, Cooking, Landscaping.....whatever makes you HAPPY!

Cone Flowers

I intended to take a picture of my Real Cone Flowers, but it is dark.......so here is the card using the Daisy punch.

Perfect Plum card base, with Sweet Sugar Plum Cone Flowers.  Stamp and Punch Daisies like normal then cut them in half and layer to make Cone Flowers.  The Center covers the joining points.  Trim off petals as needed.

I see Black eyed Susans, Gerbera, Galardia and Shasta Daisies....this set is a GARDEN of Flowers!  And the whispy grass and stems are perfect.

The Sentiment look really cool until I boogered it up!  So you lose the flagged end, but a Butterfly made it all better!  Butterflies are from "You Move Me"

Simple Daisy

The Cosmos and Wild Flowers are starting to Bloom around the Stadium.  This card reminds me of the masses of Flowers.   I chose Melon Mambo, Fresh Fig and Pear Pizzazz.  I wanted to show you how to use this set without the punch for Beautiful Scenes!
