Baby Bear Shower

I was supposed to be at a Baby Shower yesterday , but this sore throat is hanging on and I sure did not want to expose the Mom to be.....so I will mail this Baby Bear.  And since I am posting the day after.......Mom can see her card before the mail man delivers! 

I used the NEW Fancy Frost Specialty paper in the Holiday catalog.  To me this pattern looked like a soft baby blanky!  I also used the new Sponge rollers to add the Pink ink to the paper.  I like how the sponge roller distributes the ink without splotches.

Baby Bear is stamped with Tip Top Taupe, Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip inks on Crumb Cake card stock.  Snipped her out and then added a Bow from the Jars of Love Framelits.  A few pearls for accent below the sentiment.

Fall Thank You, Take 2

I am so hooked on this color combo, all inspired by the Halloween paper in yesterdays card.  I had a major boo boo in creating my card yesterday, wrong direction, wrong side of the paper.....you get the idea.  So today I am taking that mess and EMBELLISHING!!  Yes, that is what we do when we make a mess, we EMBELLISH!! 
Do whatever it takes to cover it up.  I had pretty much destroyed this background paper except for what you see, but I thought, why not cover the worst with the Opposite side of the Designer paper and then cover the other spots with Leaves?  Added some Smoky Slate ribbon and popped it all up on a Peek a Boo Peach card base. 

 Love the detail on these leaves!

Fall Thank You

Since I had the Vintage Leaves out and inky, I decided to make my "Thank You" for Online Orders cards tonight.  This Halloween Night Specialty paper is really adorable as well as spooky.  I chose 2 of the adorable patterns.  I cut pieces 2X4 and 1X4.  I angled the polka dots over the stripes and glued with Tombow, then wrapped a few strands of the Halloween Nights Bakers twine and tied a bow.

Then random stamped leaves in Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Peek a Boo Peach on a Smoky Slate card base.  I love this trio of pumpkins from Spooky Fun and Halloween Scenes bundle, 
popped up over the dots!

Fall Foliage

There has been some rumble that there is no FALL in the Holiday catty?  Not from you my loyal supporters, but the General SU Hobby community.  I have shown many patterns of the Petals & Paisley designer paper and if this pattern does not say FALL, what does?  I cut a 3X3 square and matted on a 3 1/4X 3 1/4 square of Cajun Craze.  I pulled out my Vintage Leaves stamp set and stamped Soft Suede on Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze card stock.  Matching framelits cut these leaves out with ease.  Add a Sentiment and pop the Leaves up over the square with a bow of Linen Thread on a Very Vanilla card base.  Any Occasion, All FALL!!

Paper Pumpkin Left overs......

This kit made 16 Treat Holders and ALL this was leftover!!

Here are 2 simple cards using some of the leftover tags and the Banner stickers.

 Oh this card I used the Blank tags similar to the Triple stack technique.  I laid the tags close together and stamped the Sunflower image.  Then separated on Pear Pizzazz card stock and added a circle punch to each center.  All added to a Crushed Curry card base.

And this card is super simple with 2 banners and one of the Tags with some grunge and Fireflies in the background.

September Paper Pumpkin

This is an awesome kit for Tricks and Treats!  I will be filling my tubes with candy corn and selling at the Craft Fair on Oct. 15th.

Paisley Thanks

I had to play with the Paisley paper and stamps 1 more time.  This ribbon pack is gorgeous and wanted to add some ribbon to this card.  S I colored the Paisley with Mint Macaron, Delightful Dijon and Rich Razzleberry markers, then added a snip of each color ribbon with glue dots and popped up over the 2 other patterns of paper. 

 Grosgrain has always been my favorite and you get 3 rolls 5 yards each for $11.00.
