A Tisket A Tasket, lets make a Basket!

First off I need to give all the credit to France at www.frenchiestamps.com.  This Basket is her baby and she has a fabulous video giving you great instructions.  So hop on over and check it out.  In her search bar type "basket" and it should take you to her post with the video.

I have measurements and a scoring guide for you to get started,  You need ONE piece of 8 1/2 X 11 card stock.  YES ONE piece!!  Amazing!

 Score at 3 inches and 5 1/2 inches.  Turn card stock

Score at 1,2,3,4,......7,8,9,10.  Cut along these lines to the center score lines.  Follow the video for the rest of the directions.

Cover the brad with flowers, bows, whatever makes you smile!!  Use this Basket for Easter, May Day or any occasion.  Frenchie explains the embossing, this was my first attempt so could do better and will on my next basket.

Bunnies in the Mist......

I love this little Bunny and what better than bunches of Bunnies hopping across the countryside!  The card base is Soft Sky.  Bunnies were stamped in Baked Brown Sugar.  The Fence is the Hardwood background stamp on Crumb Cake card stock.  Cut into pickets, round the top with the Oval punch.  Save the smaller slats for the cross pieces.  Pearls were added for the Bunny tails.

Easter Egg Treat

I have not used TREAT cups forever, but the Oval Framelits make a perfect EGG shape.  Punch your hole with the 1 3/4 circle punch.  Add a strip of Polka Dot paper.  Stamp your sentiment, and emboss for some texture.  Add treats and adhere to the solid egg back.  I threaded some Island Indigo Baker's twine in between and tied a bow!

Peeps!!

I saw several cards last year and saved a picture because Easter was over, but wanted to remember to get one of these made this year.  Who knew the Bird Builder punch could be a peep?

 

I must confess this card uses LOTS of product!  No need to use everything in the craft room, but I rolled with my idea as it developed!  The Hardwood Background stamp in the Spring mini makes a great fence!  I could have embossed it with the woodgrain folder, but was trying to show some restraint, LOL!
I did use my scissors and trim some off the top to simulate fence.  The Eggs are a Large Oval punch of In Color Designer paper, then cut and punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch.  The Peeps are the head of the Bird Builder punch in So Saffron.  Clouds and the Word Bubble from Word Bubble Framelits.  Card base embossed with Perfect Polka Dots.  Clouds embossed with Cloudy Day embossing folder.  Sentiment from Delightful Dozen and a snip of grass with the Fringed scissors.  WHEW, done!  Oops a marker to put an eye on the Peeps!

More Tulips!

I have seen cards with things peeking thru the Hexagon Hive die.  The Tulips were on my desk so I inked them up and stamped several times.  Cut the Hive from Whisper White and stamped on the cut out.  Tore some Pear Pizzazz card stock to ground the images and then popped the Hive up over the background.

Pear Pizzazz and Primrose Petals were the ink used.  A Butterfly was stamped and punched in Primrose Petals.  The sentiment was stamped in Pear Pizzazz with the Artisan Label punch and layered Primrose Petals to pop off the hive.  Lots of possibilities with this die.  Remember to use WAX paper between the die and your card stock and run back and forth in the Big Shot.  The hexagons pop right out!!
