Summer Days....

The Independence Market yesterday was HOT!!  Lots of traffic, a beautiful Breeze and HUMIDITY!  I had to focus on something to keep from dwelling on the temperature.  What better way to do that than with PAPER PUMPKIN!  I finished this entire kit in under 2 hours. I made 12 mini cards as shown in the instructions and 6 FULL size cards using Crumb Cake and Coastal Cabana card stock.  I still have enough leftover embellishments to make at least 6 more cards!  All this for $22.00 plus tax!!

These cute little cards are the perfect size to deliver a GIFT card!  Tuck into a Gift bag or hand deliver!  The Beachy feel is always a good LOOK!

I went off script on this card and stamped the Sentiment and Sand Dollar in Coastal Cabana directly   to the card front.  Then added the Coral Vellum and Sparkly Star fish. CUTE!!

The pre-printed envelopes add to the Beauty of this kit!  Mix and match Sentiments you have for Birthdays and ALL Occasions.

Tear and Turn 2

I used the same Perennial Essence paper on this card with a different stamp set, this time pulling the Petal Pink from the paper.  And adding a Pink panel behind the Designer paper and using a NEW Stamp set Vibrant Vases.  Designed to compliment Varied Vases and Vases Builder punch.

I stamped the Vases in Old Olive and punched.  The Flowers were stamped and trimmed with snips.
The same ribbon to accent the tear.  Can't wait to try some more patterns of this Designer paper with this technique.

Perennial Tear and Turn

Perennial Essence paper is PERFECT for this Technique.  Cut your designer paper 4 X 5 1/4.  Tear it into 2 pieces.  Down the middle or wherever you prefer.  I chose to have a larger bottom piece on this card.  This paper has such texture and visual appeal.  It looks like vintage wallpaper!

I added the Designer paper to a Whisper White card base and stamped the sentiment directly to the card using the Stamparatus to get a nice crisp image.  The muted daisies in the top portion inspired the Daisy from Daisy Delight.

The Daisy was stamped in Pineapple Punch twice and layered over this NEW Magnolia Lane ribbon.  Great neutral ribbon for ALL your projects!  The ribbon covers the TEAR or you can leave exposed for more interest.

Clearance Rack Update!!

Artfully Aware............

This stamp set was designed by Demonstrator Janet Wakeland for her Million Dollar Sales Achievement.  How beautiful and the folks in this image are Stampin' Up employees.  Sara is Second from the left with her Signature Hair cut,  How Special is this!! And the Sentiment is our Statement from the Heart! 

I started with this GORGEOUS Designer paper, so Monet like.  Flirty Flamingo card base  and Crushed Curry accent panel.  I used Colored pencils to color only the Hair of the image.

This card would be a Great Fundraiser option.  So many folks are battling some illness in their Family and this card shows the Strength we bring when we are Together!

June Paper Pumpkin Full card alternative

I made this quick card tonight on my kitchen counter. I was missing the soft pierce mat so my Sand Dollar images are a bit blurry.  Photopolymer stamps perform the best on a soft surface!  Crumb Cake card base and Crumb Cake ink.

I also used the Coastal Cabana ink spot to add some water like stamping on the Coastal Cabana panel.  Popped up Palm Trees and Sand Dollars from the kit.  Cute simple card.

Love the SPARKLE of these embellishments!  Refills have not been added to the website.  Check Daily for updates.

New Coasters at the Market

I have been trying to come up with NEW things for the Market.....this week more Coasters.  These are Great for the Patio and love the Sail Boats and Lily Pads.  So SUMMER!!

This Tumbled Tile is a bit rough, but that is part of the charm of these coasters.

Birds in Flight

If you received the Hugs From Shelli Paper Pumpkin kit, you may recognize these birds.  This Paper Pumpkin kit said it coordinated with the Bird Ballad Suite and it sure does!  The refills went fast, but so glad I have the stamp set with this Bird stamp!  Order the Bird Ballad paper and get TWO 12X12 sheets of this beautiful paper.

Smoky Slate card base, Bird Ballad paper and a Sentiment is all you need for a Beautiful card.  2 Years ago I traveled by Train from San Diego to San Francisco.  LONG trip but one of the coastal cities we passed thru was San Juan Capistrano.  Birds like this were flying off the cliffs above the water.
