Halloween is here and all my cards have been mailed!  I love getting cards in the mail, it's like a HUG from afar!  Here is my final design for this year using up a few leftovers from the October Paper Pumpkin kit.  The Tag became a tombstone standing out from the sponged background.  I used bats and trees to add some more spookiness!   Ghosts cut with the Fun Fall framelits flutter in the front!  Eyes are from Freaky Friends.  This year had so many great Halloween stamp sets, enjoyed them all!

Frightful Wreath Kit

I have been procrastinating with this kit because I did not want to look for my glue gun.....yes the truth!  But guess what I did not use my glue gun for this wreath!!  I know Halloween is upon us, but you may want to nab this kit for next year.  I did not buy the stamps, just the kit and since this is hanging on my front porch wanted to keep the paper at a minimum in case we get a rain storm.  I have a pretty deep eave so this beauty should survive to hang many years!! 

 There is ample garland to cover the white wreath with no trouble and NO glue, this is pinned with a wreath pin(old floral supplies).  The web was adhered with some tombow and pressed into the garland.

 The pre-scored rosette is folded and adhered with its own sticky strip.  I used dimensionals to add the black circle to the front and back and hold the rosette in place.  The Spider is a bit time consuming to string the beads on each leg, but the result is stunning and PURPLE!!!

I need to fuss with my bow a bit more, but trying to get this picture taken and posted.  I used trash bag ties to make a flexible tie to add to my light sconce on the front porch.  I may add a few leaves after Halloween and take this into fall......

Falling Leaves........

I've been cleaning up around the craft space this past weekend and using scraps to cut many of these cute leaves for the next Stamp a Stack.  These "Fun Fall" framelits mase these leaves in a snap and it so much more efficient to cut four at a time, so my scrap pile is lighter and now a cup full of leaves are ready to Fall on your cards!

Here are 2 examples for the next Stamp a Stack, Thanksgiving Greeting is from "Mingle All the Way".  "For All Things" and Color Me Autumn paper are the perfect accents on each card.

 My speck of grunge smeared......not sure how to turn this into an embellishment opportunity since I have already embellished!!

Using up another piece of Burlap ribbon that was shredded for previous projects.  Love this paper and will be so sad when I use the last piece of this pattern!!

Free Parking.....

That is if you are riding a Broom!!   I am not sure who I saw make a similar card, but it stuck in my mind and I finally made one!  The Hexagon Punch makes a perfect sign and in this case a "Witch Parking" sign.  Love it!  Once again "TEE HEE HEE" is my stamp set paired with Black bats, Brooms and Pumpkin Pie ink and paper.  A few sequins let over from the Paper Pumpkin October kit give this card some sparkle!

Feeling Royal!!

I needed a blogpost for tomorrow and could not leave this exciting game until it was over!!  And of course all I could think about is #Takethecrown!!  And here is my version of a treat box, Crown and all using the Gift Box punch board.  So easy and this box was done in 10 minutes.  The Crown is hand drawn and cut out of the Gold Foil, Circles are the large circle from the Owl Builder punch.  Box is 4 X 4 X 2.5 from a 10 X 10 piece of Regals Designer paper stack.  Night of Navy and the Chalk pen finish this off.  I have several folks who would love to receive some treats in this package!!

Raven Halloween

CEO of Stampin' Up! Shelly Gardner was using this stamp set "Choose Happiness" at convention for Halloween and I had to give my spin.  Here is another stamp set that can be used for many occasions, you just have to think outside the box..........

This is a very simple card.  I stamped the leaf image in Momento Black in directly to Tangelo Twist card stock.  The Happy Halloween sentiment is from "Making Spirits Bright".  The Raven and Wood Banner were stamped on Whisper White and cut out with snips.  The Raven is popped up with a rhinestone colored with the Basic Black marker.

Halloween Boos......

Fall Wreath

I caved and purchased the Wonderful Wreath bundle, these is not much from the Holiday catalog that did not make it into my shopping cart!  Seeing samples for FALL and Spring inspired me to take the plunge.  I love stamp sets that can be used all season and since this one is only available until January 5th, I did not want to miss a season!!  I have been using the ravels from the Burlap ribbon on other projects and this is what is left a perfect fringe for this card!

Too Much Pie???

I love October Paper Pumpkin and wish I had more members so you could enjoy this kit also.  But I have made a template and if you come to a BOX class and make this box you will receive a template.  2 Pie boxes can be cut from a 12 X 12 piece of heavy card stock, or 1 pie box from a 8 1/2 X 11 piece of card stock.  I used the retired specialty paper for this example.  Pie in this box is probably not an option, but you can keep people guessing on the treats inside!!  And make several for an adorable centerpiece, or individual for place cards for the Holidays. 

Here are my steps in pictures:

I traced the outside lines of the pie box.

 I folded the Paper Pumpkin box on the score lines so I could trace the score lines on the template.

 Placed the folded box on the template and traced the score line.

 Score lines traced, ready to cut out.

 I did not even score this box, carefully folded along the lines.

 Added Sticky Strip to the long side flap and point flap,

Adhered together and added a tag with this cute saying from the Paper Pumpkin stamps with this kit!!
The kits have improved, I wish we could preview, but this was a nice surprise this month and 8 Pie boxes, so a good value!!  Check out Paper Pumpkin at the link at the top right of this post.

Gentle Peace

This is the new Photopolymer stamp set available this month and I could not wait to get it inky!  I used Whisper White craft ink and White embossing powder.  The Lost Lagoon cardstock shines thru. Very simple to cut this out and pop up on a bed of Stars.  The sentiment is stamped in Lost Lagoon ink and Lost Lagoon ribbon is added to this panel.  I have so many plans for this stamp set, using blendabilities, bleach, vellum.  I need to get busy!  So wanted to share this first card on the Sabbath.
