Explosion Basket Table Deocr

This basket is sure to "Take off" as your Spring Centerpiece.  12X12 Designer paper is decorated with a Butterfly cut with our "Beautiful Butterflies" die, the center ring is embellished with Butterfly punches.  Add some rhinestones and the Bling says SPRING!!

 A dressed up version of a very simple table centerpiece.  I used the 12X12 Designer paper prints with flowers punched with the Stampin' Up "Blossom Punch" available in the Mini catalog.  Each Flower is embellished with a coordinating button.  More punched flowers decorate the jump ring and some random ribbon from my scrap basket.

12X12 Basket

I wanted to post a picture of our Simply Scored board and stylus.  On top is the new diagonal plate which also fits on the Martha Board!  How cool is that!!  I know lots of you have that tool and for only $11.95 you can use our diagonal plate for tons of projects.

Here is a pictured of a scored piece of 12X12 paper.  Score at 4 inches and 8 inches, turn paper and keep scoring.  Then put on the diagonal plate and score from each outside corner toward the center square, Keep going around your paper, then fold on scored lines.

I used a jump ring on this version and tied some larger ribbon, stay tuned for another twist on this same project that will make the cutest Easter centerpiece.  All the products can be purchased at my Stampin' Up store.  www.kathyswanson.stampinup.net

Easter Basket

For this basket you will need the following:

6X6 piece of Stampin' Up designer series paper
Simply Scored Scoring Pad with stylus and our NEW Diagonal Plate.
Cropodile
Everyday Enchantment Lucky Limeade ribbon(one of the FREE Sale-a-brations items).  All our colors coordinate so you will be able to use this ribbon all year!!

Score your paper at 2 inches and 4 inches.  Turn paper score at 2 inches and 4 inches.  Your paper will look like a Tic Tac Toe frame.  Now place your diagonal plate on top of your score pad.  Place the 6x6 paper into the top left corner and score from the corner into the center, going 2 inches.  The middle of you paper should be a 2x2 square.  Turn paper score on diagonal again, repeat 2 more times from each corner.  Fold the Diagonal scores in, fold the straight scores in and WA LA a cute little basket!!  Use the cropodile to punch holes in each point and thread your ribbon.  Fill with paper shreds and treats.

The Beginning of my Blog
